Season 1

Leah Zeger is an incredible violinist and vocalist working with everyone from Hans Zimmer to Miley Cyrus to Steve Wonder, and as a mother of 2 with baby number 3 on the way, Leah shares her experience as a mother in music, how she's dealt with being away from her kids on tour, losing gigs because of being pregnant, and what she's learned along the way.

Talented drummer Demelza Mather shares show her music career took off after becoming a mother, her passion for playing live, and the constant balance we are all trying to achieve in music and motherhood.

Lindsey Kirkendall is an artist coach, music business consultant, and mother of two helping artists create a thriving, sustainable, and profitable business paradigm, and she believes being a mother is the secret sauce.

Incredibly talented singer/songwriter and multi-instrumental Jess Greenfield chats with host Claire London about her experience as a touring musician with Noel Gallagher, among many other artists, and the real, raw, relatable challenges of being a new mama.

Season 2

A talented artist and songwriter based in Nashville, Hannah Miller's music has been featured in numerous films and television shows such as This is Us, Virgin River, Pretty Little Liars, and more, and she was honored a Guild of Music Supervisors Award nomination for on "This is Us" in 2018. Hannah shares her experience as a mother in music, her journey into the sync world, and what she's learned along the way.

Mirette Seireg is the President and CEO of MPATH Music, the first and only production music company of its kind to achieve gender parity among its composers. As a mother, business owner, and a fierce advocate for inclusion of diverse groups and gender parity, Mirette chats about some of the challenges she sees for women in mothers in music, what needs to happen to move the needle and so much more.

An authoritative voice in music, tech, and education, the multi-talented Erin Barra is the Direction of Popular Music at Arizona State University, Executive Direction of Beats By Girlz, course developer for Berklee College, former Associate Professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and so much more. As a mother of 2, Erin chats to host Claire London about how her music career shifted into education, leaning into leadership, embracing fear, and how child number 2 rocked her world.

Season 3 

Singer-songwriter and actor Rae Leigh has featured on the hit NBC universal TV show ‘Young Rock’ as a Nashville singer in the 80’s covering Dwight Yoakam’s ‘Honky Tonk Man’ and was a kissing bee in the Oscar-nominated film “Elvis”. 

Rae followed up her 2021 EP “Powered by Love”, with three singles in 2022 all of them charting well in the Australian National country radio airplay chart with her single ‘Push Em Up Jill’ produced by Angus Gil hit number one. 

Rae maintains a busy performance schedule, performing locally as well as around Australia. In 2021, she co-headlined with Adam Brand at the MMG 85th Fun Fair (Rosebery, Tasmania) and ANZAC Day Vietnam Veteran Reunion Event (Bairnsdale, Victoria). Rae made her debut appearance at the Tamworth Country Music Festival’s 50th anniversary and was a featured artist at the Groundwater Country Music Festival.

Denise Devenish is a qualified counselor, member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, member of The British Association for Performing Arts Medicine, Spokesperson for Help Musicians UK, singer, mother, and more.

Tara Trudel is a versatile songwriter and composer based in Los Angeles. She started her career teaching early childhood and elementary school music in Chicago for The Merit School of Music and Chicago Public Schools. As a teaching artist for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Tara performed her students’ original composition with Yo-Yo Ma. Tara left teaching to perform around the country as a Music Director with the Second City Touring Company and in the Second City kids show Improv Extravaganza Explosion. Tara’s work has been seen in SXSW, Amazon Prime, Sony’s Voces Nuevas, and Vulture’s Best Comedy Shorts Of The Year. Her score for Chelsea Devantez’s short film BASIC won Best Score at the LA Film Awards and the Festigious International Film Festival. Tara also writes theme songs for children’s books, including Amy Krouse Rosenthal’s NYTimes bestselling UNI THE UNICORN. Her debut album, FRACTURED: FAIRY TALES REMIXED was released in 2023.

Anita Aysola, the Atlanta-based songwriter, has always been a musical chameleon, skillfully blending her mastery of Western and Hindustani classical music with a variety of other genres. As she moves into 2024, Anita's music continues to evolve as she embraces an alternative style, and she shares how her musical evolution unfolded, how motherhood has influenced her music, and so much more. Her upcoming cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Something I Can Never Have" is a prelude to her new album "Dreamwalker," scheduled for release later this year.

Nella Dwyer is a singer, songwriter, composer, ADHD Executive Coach and Neurodiversity Consultant, and an expert on the topic of boundaries. In this episode, we discuss what boundaries are, why they are important, how to implement them, and so much more.
